A little bit of the heart and soul of Israel came to Nashville at the National Religious Broadcasters Conference. Representatives from World Emunah flew in from Israel to help launch their newest branch, “Emunah Angels”. Emunah Angels was launched to start building bridges between Jews and Christians.
It was at the 2019 Nations’ 9th of Av conference that the “seed” for this vision was first launched: “Emunah Angels”, is a new branch of World Emunah. It is a way for Christians to connect with the Emunah family in Israel.
In the words of Ruth Guggenheim: “We are saying, “Come and be a part of the Emunah family. But we also are saying “We want to be a part of your family also.” We realized one of the things we could offer and share is the beauty of the Jewish Challah bake.”
The Challah bake project is something that Emunah Angels has adopted. This project allows for bridges to be built between the Jews and Christians, as Jews come together and teach Christians how to bake Challah bread.
“We felt this was something we could do to bring the Challah bake to the Christian community in partnership and in fellowship and that this would help to build bridges of friendship and mutual respect between our two communities.”

At the Exhibition Hall of the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, hundreds of Christians were drawn to the Emunah Angels booth that was set up at the Exhibit Hall. Many stopped by the booth because they have a deep love for Israel and the Jewish people and wanted to learn what the Emunah Angels were all about.
Emunah Angels is a branch of World Emunah. World Emunah has been in Israel for 85 years. They are a Jewish non-profit social action agency that provides vital services for children and adults during times of crisis and helps to transform tragedy into success.
But there was another reason why so many people were drawn to the Emunah Angels booth like a tractor beam. Why was there such keen interest? In a give away, raffle, Emunah Angels gave away a FREE TRIP for two to visit Israel!
On the last day, Feb 28 at 3pm, the drawing took place and Moira Zadik had the honors of pulling the name from the raffle:
And the winner is: Beth Vickers of Santa Ana, California, who is the founder of Christillustrated.com
Congratulations to Beth Vickers!
