Join with millions of believers as we unite in 21 days of Prayer and Fasting for Israel (May 7-28)

It is estimated that over 5 million Christians are uniting in 21 days of prayer and fasting for Israel and Jerusalem in a global solemn assembly. These Christian believers have set their hearts to pray for at least 1 hour a day for 21 days (May 7-28) for God’s blessing on and peace in Jerusalem. (Psalm 122:6) This prayer initiative is called “The Isaiah 62 Fast.”
This website Isaiah62fast.com provides the background to this historic 21-day global prayer initiative.

The information for this prayer initiative has been translated into over 100 languages and identifies several thousand ministries and church networks from many nations who are functioning as ‘Prayer Hubs’ that are mobilizing people in their region of the world to pray for Israel in these 21 days.

The call was originally given on March 7, 2023, by Mike Bickle, the founder of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOPKC), whose people have sustained 24/7 prayer with worship since 1999. This historic fast will culminate on Pentecost Sunday, May 28, when 100 Million intercessors from around the world will pray for Israel as part of the Global Prayer Day for Israel, supported by over 5000 Prayer Networks. Mike Bickle says, “In speaking to thousands of church leaders and ministry networks from many nations over the past eight weeks, I have been totally surprised how quickly people of different backgrounds are uniting behind this prayer initiative for Israel. The scriptural inspiration for this is the prophetic promise spoken by Isaiah (paraphrased): “O Jerusalem, the Lord has appointed those who will pray for you…they will never keep silent until the Lord makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 62:6-7). This will be the first time in history that millions of Gentile believers will pray for 21-days for God’s blessing on and peace for Jerusalem.”

On May 28, 2023, Pentecost Sunday, there will be a Global Day of Prayer for Jerusalem and the Nations (www.pentecost2023.org) with a 24-hour global broadcast from many different locations around the world, including a number of broadcasts direct from Jerusalem.

The Isaiah 62 Fast is a partnership of several thousand ministries all around the world. Spearheaded by Mike Bickle from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO, one million Christians from all over the world will be fasting and praying for 100 million intercessors to be raised up on behalf of Israel. This will culminate in more than 100 million people who will all be praying for Israel on May 28th.

May 7th – 28th, Christians all over the world will engage in 24/7 prayer and fasting for Israel. Together, we will be praying that God’s promises for Israel will come to pass, for the peace of Jerusalem, and that the light from Zion will go forth to the world.
